Overview

Tore Ore USA, nestled inside Super H Mart in Carrollton, Texas, offers an authentic Korean dining experience that captures the essence of traditional flavors with a modern twist. Specializing in Korean comfort fare, this eatery shines particularly with its spicy fried chicken, blood sausage, and cheese kimbap — all staples that reflect Korea’s rich culinary heritage.

The spicy fried chicken is a standout, boasting a vibrant, flavorful sauce that balances heat and depth without overwhelming the palate. It’s crispy, tender, and clearly focuses on quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. Customers repeatedly praise it as a superior alternative to mainstream fast-food chains, emphasizing its value and generous portions.

Blood sausage presents a more traditional offering, appealing to adventurous diners who appreciate authentic Korean street food. While it can be an acquired taste, it provides a genuine connection to regional specialties not commonly found in westernized versions of Korean cuisine.

The cheese kimbap, along with the popular yachae (veggie) kimbap, showcases Tore Ore USA’s ability to blend convenience with flavor. However, it’s important to note that while the menu advertises various kimbap options, only the pre-made yachae kimbap is consistently available, limiting choice for those craving meat-filled varieties. This reflects a current challenge in meeting the diverse expectations of kimbap lovers but still delivers a satisfying experience for fans of fresh, vegetable-packed rolls.

Situated in the food court area of Super H Mart, the space is functional with communal seating, enabling a casual and social dining atmosphere. This location benefits from the dynamic and diverse crowd of shoppers seeking authentic Korean flavors alongside their grocery needs. The environment mixes convenience with cultural authenticity, appealing to food enthusiasts, families, and those eager to explore Korean cuisine beyond the usual offerings.

Beverage choices complement the menu well, featuring bubble teas and smoothies that offer a sweet balance to the savory and spicy dishes. The drink selection, including red ginseng and yogurt smoothies, caters to varied tastes and enhances the overall culinary experience.

For anyone seeking delicious Korean food in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Tore Ore USA offers a compelling mix of flavor, affordability, and authenticity. It stands out not only for its quality fried chicken but also as a place where traditional Korean dishes like blood sausage and the humble kimbap are given their rightful spotlight. While there is room for menu consistency, especially regarding kimbap options, the overall experience is satisfying and worth exploring time and again.

Very Delicious and Best Price ever! (Just $14.99 for whole chicken) This chicken store is much better than KFC, or Popeyes, and church's chicken price, taste, and qulity. I will definitely order again.

Tore Ore is located within Super H Mart in the "food court" area towards the back. There is seating for all the restaurants residing along this area. The food displayed looked amazing. The deep-fried products looked very crispy. The major drawback as other reviewers have pointed out is their refusal to sell the variety of Kimbaps shown on the menu. Like preivous reviewers, we were told that only the pre-made Yachae Kimbaps (Veggie Kimbaps) were available. I can see stacks of kimbaps being made, which I can presume are the Yachae Kimbaps. Don't get me wrong - their Yachae Kimbaps are decent, but I would love to have some meat in my Kimbaps. Honestly, what is the point of displaying a menu full of different Kimbaps if you cannot provide them. It would be easier to slap a sign across saying temporarily unavailable or something. Hopefully, one day, they can rectify this, and we can try their other Kimbaps as the based ingredients are decent.

Taste: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Tried their spicy fried chicken. The sauce was very delicious and spicy. Didn't like the blood sausage as it is a traditional dish and an acquired taste. Tteokbokki (rice cake) was pretty delicious. Overall, a definite visit again.
